Ag Exemption Power of Attorney

If you have NOT filed the Agricultural Tax Exemption Power of Attorney with Huerfano County Tax Assessor, you should do so immediately. If you do not have a form on file with the County, you will lose the Ag exemption and your taxes will increase significantly. Once lost, it takes a minimum of 3 years to re-establish the Ag exemption on your parcel(s). The form is available on the "Documents" page and should be mailed to:  Bruce Quintana

POA Governance Policies

The Board of Directors has been working with legal counsel, Jerry Orten, of Orten, Cavanagh & Holmes, LLC.  The POA is now compliant with Colorado Statutory requirements regarding HOAs and POAs.  One of those requirements is the publication of governance policies.  Those policies have been unanimously approved by the Board and are available for your review on the "Documents" page. We strongly encourage you to take a few minutes and read through them.
